Located at West 1stStreet the River’s Edge park provides a host of amenities including 3.8 miles of natural surface trails. These trails can be used for exercise, access to fishing areas, viewing local wildlife or bicycling. There are five ponds in the area, perfect for fishing. Get close to Bass Pond by talking a walk along the Wetland boardwalk. Educational programs are often provided at the Amphitheater as well as Environmental Education stations located in the park.
Boyd Lake State Park
When you enjoy water sports, Boyd Lake State Park is the perfect outdoor area for you. Located at the edge of Long’s Peak and the Continental Divide, the park is perfect for enjoying the natural beauty of the area. Enjoy boating and fishing, camping, having a picnic, swimming, biking, hunting and hiking. The 1,700 surface acres of water of Boyd Lake is always brimming with activity, especially during the summer months.
